Well thank goodness you have a consious but really, its a figure of speech just intended to bring out the real Dodge man. One weak point of the cabs is that when the frame twist and flexes (as when offroading)and all four corners are bolted down, metal fatigue usually allows the doorpost to break loose from the floor.
An old PWA article described a solution to this problem. If you can imagine using two pieces of flat bar, bent correctly with one attached to the cab and the other attached to the frame with only one support in the middle o,between both , allowing the rear of the cab to pivot on this point instead of being twisted and flexed.
