Hi Guys,
I have decided to rebuild the flathead six in my '57. I have stripped down the entire engine. Except.....I can't seem to be able to pull the water distribution tube out of the block. I have sprayed penetrating oil down the side of the tube in hopes to free it up. I even had it in the machine shop's heated parts washer for 5 hours hoping things would free up. I have pulled it with 2 pairs of locking pliers and I even used a hard steel hook inside one of the holes to pull it. I practically am lifting the block off the ground, but she does not seem to come free. It does rock back and forth a little bit, but how can I get it out????
