Pretty sure I know the answer to this but would like confirmation. Getting ready to install the transmission into the 57 W100. Looked into the bell housing one last time double checking, and I noticed a plastic spacer or shipping block underneath the three pressure plate fingers that the throwout bearing hit. I am thinking that they need to get removed before the tranny is installed, right? They look like they would fall out the first time the clutch was depressed, or maybe when the tranny was installed, but it dosent seem like I want those 3 pieces of plastic riding around in the clutch.
Thanks,
Tim
