rebuilt the tc in the 1966 wm300 and the noise from the tc went away. the truck seems like it lost a host of little people beating on metal with big hammers. I was having an issue with the tc jumping out of 4wd in low range. taking the tc down for rebuild I noticed lots slop, it was rebuilt with all new bearings, seals and redisleeves. we put it all back to spec, and everything works as it should with almost no noise. wish it had done sooner, made a very big difference. its like a new and different truck,
