DJ I want to go back that way right now. There is so much to see You might not make it to Tucson. I assume you are from Washington State. I live in San Jose and we have been to that area several times usually stating from Las Vegas. Depending on your route, travel along, Hiway 40 at the top of the state from kingman to Williams. That is the old route 66 and there are many attactions and old towns just off the freeway. I bought a route 66 guide book but you can find tons of info ion the internet. Then go thru Sedona, Jerome and Gold King Mine and Ghost Town. Look them up on the internet but unless you like minor league baseball, (and I do) Phoenix is a huge city. It does have Desert valley Auto Part which is a huge wrecking yard but you can't just walk thru. If you ask for Dodge truck or Power wagon parts they might have an area for them. On the way to Tucson, check out the wine growing area. It's hard to imaging wine in grape vines in the desert but You travel the back roads and see stuff. Time allowing there is also Tombstone, of Wyatt Earp fame.
