Good thing you weren't running early. I had the opportunity to closely inspect the remains of the wreck between Salt Lake City and Toole Utah, where a short train ran away from the Toole Chemical Weapons Depot and got onto the main line. Incredible destruction. The main frame member of one of the loco's was bent at 90 degrees and pistons from the diesels were scattered around like Easter eggs.
My brother was a station master and my cousin was a section master with the Burlington Northern (old Great Northern line).
