Sounds like healthy reassessment to me. It's good to see your thoughts and the responses.
When you say "hard as I can" ... that hasn't gone very well for me unless I was on a good path already and just needed a kick in the pants to get motivated.
Regarding prioritizing- start by defining the "need", then make a goal that meets the need, then plan the project to achieve the goal within the available budget and schedule. Don't lift a finger until you know that your work will get you what you need. Sounds easy... :)
Bad project planning will eat up everything you give it and just want more. My boss at the plumbing shop used to talk about - losing money on every job and trying to make up for it in volume. Treadmill to oblivion.
I have had to triage a lot of projects because of health, and the reality that human beings don't live 200 years. If the need isn't practical - most truck projects aren't - it can still be a "need". I'm still figuring it out but I'm having fun again and not beating my head against the wall so much. My mantra now - "It's just a truck."
