Never Seize on Radiator Hoses?

I had to pull the radiator on the 6x6 today because of a leak somewhere (yes, I'm extremely pi***d about it). It was quite a struggle to remover the lower radiator hose, after being installed only a couple months. Is there some goop I can put on the radiator pipe that will make it easier to remove the hose down the road, and not interfere with the seal?
