There's still the stump of a driver-through cedar in the rest area off I-5 north of Marysville, Washington. It used to be a drive-through tree along the old highway, but now it's just a walk-through tree in the rest area. But it gives you an idea of what a great cedar forest covered that area of suburbia and farms not all that long ago. There's also a "bicycle tree" (another old cedar, but with a narrower notch through it) south of Snohomish, Washington, or at least there was 20 years ago. Not sure if it's still around or not.
