I ask becuse now that it's gotten colder ( 17 degrees here today) my 218 shows nay more than 135 or so on the temp gauge, fully warmed up.
Even in the summer it never broke over 160.
All thru the fall temps I bet it never was much more than 145-150. Hottest days of summer seen the 160.
I was always under the impression an engine should be running in a pretty warm state to be efficient, but what's considered "warm enough"?
Is 135-140 too cold? Or is this fine?
