I'm thinking it was originally a green truck. All my other trucks (VW) I've kept the way I've found them. One of them is yellow and it was not a factory color and I'm really not a fan of that particular color. Looks ok on this monster though.
I was told the truck was in service as a snow plow, so I think they wanted something bright so people could see it. Thankfully, CA does not use salt! About the only thing this silly place has done right for once.
