Several years ago I was doing some reading on WWII vehicle design and assembly. Somebody had prepared a chart with the percentage of parts on the percentage of parts on each truck model that would interchange or was common with other vehicles. The ideal would have been 50% or more. Some were hopelessly unique--if they quit or were hit, you would not get going again unless you had donor just like it.

Question: How many parts from the MB and GPW, mostly Willys and Ford jeep are the same used on the WC Dodges?
In particular, the speedo and other instruments?

I believe the oil filters are the same, as well as the lighting.
