are you using the early high water pump or the later lower one
what year is your truck
with the early pump you only have to move 2 in. but with the low pump seems you need to go more
with the high pump you can mount the radiator inside the support- just need to trim the outside edges of the mount flanges so it will slip inside then it does not hit the stock grill
