If you can use the 230 water pump you save about 2" over the forward mounted pump, the M601 radiator support sits on a bracket bolted under the leading edge of the front cross-member and allows the radiator to be mounted about 2" further forward, some combination of these will give you the clearance you need without the grille extensions, although the grille will be almost touching the front of the radiator. I used the forward pump and the grille extensions as it puts the fan in the middle of the radiator. You can't use a crank handle as it hits the fan blades with this arrangement, so maybe settle for the 230 pump with original radiator fitted to the forward edge of the support - the grille will be very close to the front of the radiator (think you have to trim the back of the grille) and the filler cap will be in the wrong place.
