Mark, you have to wiggle it a bit but it will come out, going back in is the ordeal, have help ready to start a nut to hold it up. I had my floorboards out so it was easy for my buddie to put one on. you have two that have a cone on them, be sure to get them back on in the right place. if you manage to get it off without tearing up the gaskets keep them intact, they detremine the gear clearance.
