Funny! Nope not period correct for sure. No air so far in a least a year, haven't had to add any fluid. The plastic tubing is thick wall and unaffected by the fluid. I have the square nut that came with the MC screwed into the plastic tube. It has a tiny hole in it.
The thick wall doesn't flex. It's really stiff. Not saying it won't bend in off road situations? Even if it could bend, it can't go far being so thick. Also, haven't noticed any moisture either.
I can't take credit for the set up, it was set up this way when I bought the truck. I just have all new parts. :) It works.
