It sounds like if you want to keep the Jeep reasonably original, you have two choices. You may be able to fit a newer model Meyers pump unit with an angle feature in place of the non-angling unit. Daveyk gave you a good link with some Meyer options.
Another choice that would allow you to keep the original Meyer unit, and to keep the Jeep period correct, would be to add a Monarch Hy-Lo-Jeep unit. These are a belt drive pump and reservoir unit that sits on top of the generator and straps to it. The one in the link I have provided is missing the valve and maybe some other parts. The valve normally attaches directly to the top of the pump, but can be mounted remotely also. These pumps are no longer supported with OEM parts, but the sides of the gears and pump plates can be surface ground back into tolerance if they are worn out. Bearings and seals are no problem to find. These were normally used to control the plow with only a cylinder out in the elements as the rest was warm and fuzzy under the hood in the engine compartment. But there is no reason that it could not be used simply for angling.
If you are interested, send me an email with "Power-Wagon" or "Jeep" in the subject line. I may be able to round up some parts to get you started.
Also, you can see some old sales brochures on the Monarch units at t137.com: http://www.t137.com/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=24
