Less parts available for early models but in my opinion they look better than scout 2. They are also smaller and will fit down any trail. IH drivetrains in those years pretty well mirror a jeep other than the motor and ih motors rarely need parts. I have parted out a couple extremely rusty s2 and have not seen a real rusty frame. A friend had one with a rusty frame but it was used as a plow truck in PA for much of its life. Prices are definately going up for nice ones.
