I have to agree, theoretically. I think the hemi is a great engine. But I think any V 8 is overpower for a Power Wagon, unless you are going to change the drive train to accommodate the higher speeds and provide the safety needed to control and stop the truck after gaining the speed.
The 4 cyl Cummins seems to provide the torque that these trucks were designed to operate under.
If, and that is a giant IF, I ever wanted to repower my WDX, it would be with a 4BT.
But everyone is entitled to their own project and to their own opinion, so good luck on the hemi install. :)
