Sounds like plain old condensation to me. If all you did is move it a few feet there is a chance the pick up tube was not low enough to start drawing in water. If the engine is in a heated shop not running it while rebuilding the truck is not a problem just so long as you do the right thing before firing it up.
If it is in a non heated shop or outside then firing it up every so often and getting it warm enough to cook the water out of the internals is a darn good idea. Leaves a coat of oil on the insides that will protect things for awhile too. fresh antifreeze is not a bad thing....if you do not know how old the old stuff is.
