Well, rather than sit and watch paint dry, I ventured over to Stockton wheel. To widen a wheel costs about as much as a new wheel. They no longer manufacture bead locks. For a new wheel, 17 inch diameter, 9 inch wide and solid center runs about 300.00 a wheel, 4 to 5 week turn around. I used this size as an example.
I then went over to 4 Wheel Parts, and they carry a multitude of tires for 17 inch wheels, so more confusion ensues.
