Military radios are cool in my book, and they do bring big bucks, but not sure that they add to the value of a truck. Mounted in the bed like that it might be authentic, but you'd want to take it out except for parades and shows. And of course military transmitters are strictly static display items -- you'd be in a heap of trouble if you keyed one up. In any case, I don't see an antenna, and if he was really trying to do a commo truck, it would have the high-amps generator and full bonding and shielding on everything.
I guess the guy will find out of the price is reasonable or not when it does or doesn't sell. Something about it smells a little fishy to me -- like it's more of a cosmetic restoration and there's going to be problems and inaccuracies if you look at it closely. For $25K it needs to be a show-winner. I still would like to know how he found dates on the bullets.
