no basically the same truck dodge 4500 and 5500 many of the same parts at least as far as steering brakes go as do the f450 and 550 are basically the same--probably just a few more leaf springs is the big diff.
i am curious too--i think i would go with gas motor tho--more cumfy and i bet tis torquey enuff
remember the ford is a v8 diesel and the cummins is in line so the v8 should be peppier unloaded but the 6 is probably peppier loaded
