Hi guys,
That is correct. Dodge, in the old pre-litigation days, always rated their trucks lower than the true capacity. Any Dodge ½ ton could out carry any other brand, except maybe International. The same was true all the way up the series line to the 500 and 700's.
100-150-1500 series; = ½ ton
200-250-2500 series; = ¾ ton
300-350-3500 series; = 1 ton.
