Ok,
I have had absolutely no experience with bodywork. I spent all my time chasing girls in high school instead of taking auto shop. Here is my problem.
The problem:
I have a 59 Townie that used to have big mirrors that mounted above and
below the window on the door. I took them off and now the doors have large
holes (a little smaller than a dime) in them. The metal is slightly raised
where the screws pulled at the metal. I want to repair these but I do not
want to screw up the surrounding paint. Is it possible to repair just the
hole without repainting the entire door? I figure I can live with repairs
the size of a half dollar but would probably need to repaint the door if it
were any larger.
If anyone can recommend a good book - web site - or offer advice - I'm
listening.
Thanks in advance
Lonnie
