Pa Rob, the engine in the 1960 dodge truck is most certainly a 230 c.i. unless it was swapped for a long block. The engine in the desoto is a 237 c.i. block if it is the original engine.Measure the length of heads on both engines.23" long is plymouth/dodge engine,25" long is chrysler/desoto engine-237,241,251,or the 265 c.i. long block family of engines.Hope this helps.
