Gettin crazy ideas (somebody stop me now)

Last week I posted a message about using the NV4500 5 spd tranny along with my PTO and the 350 Chevy conversion I was thinking about... You guys were very helpful with your info and I thank you for that.
Seems the NV is a little longer than some of the other tranny choices I might have, (anybody know how much longer)but I like the thought of the .73 overdrive 5th gear, so I'm thinking of moving the transfer case back ( 1st crazy idea). Well, that got me thinking, if I'm gonna go to this much trouble, what about a 426 Hemi (2nd crazy idea). Has anyone stuffed one of them in a c1-pwg-126? I think it would look real pretty under the hood, assuming I could get the hood back on. Anybody got any thoughts on this nutcase idea. And last but not least, how do I get to the archived posts?
