About as much as any other rebuildable engine. They are not rare but then again, not
common. A complete rebuild without specialty work needed should be between $1000-2000 depending on exactly what is needed.
I can assure you that there is no gold in them but I would gather as many as I thought I'd need to get me through life for spare parts and such.
