The 72 to 93 Dodge truck was called grandpa by the designers at Dodge. It was basically unchanged all those years except the "rust pools" on the hood were redesigned and the beltline was moved a couple of times. The grill had several different inserts. The parts that you mention, as long as the wheel base (long bed-short bed etc.) is the same, those parts should interchange.
