Hi Folks,
I have been watching and enjoying this forum for over a year now. I was bitten by the Dodge truck bug when I was 17. Now, ten years later, I am still just as excited about these old Dodges. I currently own a 1997 Ram and a 1952 B-3-C pickup (just completed full restoration three months ago).
For about 3 years while I was working on the B-3, I asked some neighbors to sell two PWs from their families business. Two months ago I was lucky enough to buy the flatfendered '57 PW and a '52 PW parts truck. I am fixing up the '57 and I have a few questions to ask.
(1) Why are there no production totals shown for the 1957 WM300 models?
(2) Neither truck came with a gas tank. I would like to buy a new one (any application)that I can mount to angle mounted across the frame rails. I dont want to use a tank with straps. A 22-25 gallon tank will do. Does anyone have any suggestions they have used??
I saw a few other people from NEPA talking on the last forum. I live in Moosic, PA, which is about half way between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. Its good to see people in my area working on this old iron.
Thanks Joe and everyone else for a great site.
