251 fuel pump question

Anyone know a current fuel pump part number for the 251? The pump i have found does not look like the one I have. research in the archives suggests that it does not fit with out modification. I have some old numbers that cross to other pumps that look similar to original and listed on eBay. Are there concerns using a old stock pump with modern fuel?
