Dodge made the script lenses in two styles. The earlier ones were flat lenses with "Dodge" imprinted in an arc at the top. Later lenses imprinted "Dodge" straight across. These later lenses also had a protrusion in the glass, as is seen in the reproduction lens posted above.
I have not been able to nail down the years that each was used. It seems that the switch came sometime in the very early fifties.
