My first power tool accident was on that machine. I was barely tall enough to reach over the table. My dad had just cut a little triangular piece of wood off and I reached out to grab it. It took a bite out of my finger, and I learned my lesson with no permanent damage. For some reason my dad was the one who changed the bandage for as long as it took to heal. Maybe my mom told him "You broke it. You fix it." My dad died 20 years ago and I still use the saw regularly. I've never cut myself on it since.
