Power Giant 9' bed questions

I want to order 9 foot bed parts from Mark-k. I need bed strips and bed angle strips. The bed strips that were on my box are spliced at the front of the box. They look like 8' strips with extensions bolted on to make 9'. Did Dodge do that? I also need to layout the cross members and body mounts. Sure would appreciate some pictures of the correct bed lay out. My truck is a 1960 w300.
