Here is a photo of the original door on my WDX before I replaced it with a non dented door. The door fits the opening nearly perfect all the way around the opening. Only the body lines are misaligned.

My '51 with original door is even worse. The problem seemed to get worse with the newer models. I don't know if the drivers doors were not stamped quite right, or if this side of the cab is slightly off, of if there was a problem with the dies.
