The stock military-WDX-WM300 third members certainly do have some large bearings. Add to that the 4-pinion differential and the thrust pad backing up the ring gear. I also consider the constant velocity joints in the front steering axle assembly. Although, admittedly, Tracta joints are not the strongest of the several types of constant velocity joints. They were certainly built to mean business.
