I have a 3/4" breaker bar that I stand on. I weigh about 205 lbs, and the lever arm of that breaker bar is effectively about 16", so I get well over 200 ft-lbs, especially if I bounce a little. I do this when tightening or loosening. So far, no problems with nuts backing off, and no problems removing nuts when I need to.
