Chris: I'm tracking, your questions are spot on.
1) Disc thickness: 0.320"
2) Finger height: 2.530
3) TO beaaring "thickness": 1.365
Kaigi: I thought about that. I marked the disc when I took it out. If I put it in backwards it changes things so much the disc won't touch the flywheel because those springs hit it first.
I did call a local clutch shop today. I'm going to bring the disc/TO bearing and pressure plate for them to check out for 20 bucks. What a deal! There is adjustment of the fingers... but it worked before so I'm not optimistic about that. I'm still leaning towards modifying the fork or TO bearing.
Thanks again for all your help and suggestions. I also spoke to Mr. Talbert this morning and Jens this afternoon to bounce ideas off them.
