Well you guys have done given me the disease! Yes, I'm talking about the Power Wagon Bug! I am not sure there is any cure for it, it seems like the affliction will only get worse with time. It sure is nice to be getting my hands greasy again after a thirty year hiatus from working on my own vehicles. I was a VW junky back then. My first car was a sweet 67' Ghia, which I put a 1933 cc dual carb engine in it with lowered front end. My parents never did know that that car could do over 100 mph! Luckily - I never did crash!!!
What I am so impressed with , in these crazy times we are all now living in, is this wonderful community of people that willingly share their time and incredible knowledge with other people helping them build there trucks. Yes, some of the guys are making money doing it - how sweet that is and more power (wagon) to them! From, Steve Fowler, Dan Mininger, Steve, Matt and Yens at Vintage PW, Ric Tudor, Paul Mierop, Matt Tisdale, Jim Power Wagon Giant guy in WA, we can't forget those counter guys and gals at Napa and other truck owners - all willing to share with you their time and knowledge with a PW junkie neophyte - Nice group of people! Maybe some day I can meet a bunch of you person at the Iowa rally.
I would like to contribute to your site which facilitates this great group of people - where can I send a check.
