1968 W200 wheels and tires

Trying to replace the wheels and tires on my '68 W200. Have 16x7.5 M+S tires now and hope to find plain, stock(ish) painted steel wheels. Tire places I have contacted treat me like I'm from Mars and have no recommendations. Any thoughts from you wise folks?
