Okay, this is a totally weird, hypothetical question, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway. My son and I have a running debate on whether it's possible to do a power slide (rear end brakes free in a 90 deg turn, but maintaining control and completing the turn) in a stock WDX-WM300. Conditions are dry asphalt, empty bed, stock engine, stock steering and axles, and 9.00-16 tires.
He asserts that the engine is not powerful enough to break the rear wheels free on dry pavement in a corner. My assertion is that it's only a matter of road speed and steering, and that a Power Wagon cornering hard enough can skid the rear tires in a corner. With NDTs I think the back end would break free fairly easily.
