Wiring a truck from scratch is like eating an elephant. Pretty big task, but it's really a whole bunch of small easy tasks put together.
Buy some spring clamps and clamp them to the bottom frame rail every 3 feet or so. Run your wires thru the openings as you build the harness one circuit at a time. For instance, hook up and test the stop/turn lights one at a time, then the license plate light, the the headlights and front turn signals one fixture at a time. Using the spring clamps is easy because when you have run and tested all the circuits, you can start taping up the harness or putting it in loom by removing one clamp at a time.
You'll be a wiring expert when you finish it.
