Here is an edited version (minus the F bombs...) of my friend Jared's M37 engine on its first start after a compllete overhaul. We first cranked it over without the spark plugs to get fuel up to the carb and made sure the oil pressure gauge moved a bit while cranking. We then put straight water in the radiator which promptly leaked out because the machine shop left out one of the front timing cover bolts that penetrates the block. But then it still would not start.... A quick check of the points fixed that and she fired right up! Glad to make this young soldier a happy man on Memorial day!
