For various reasons, I'm replacing all the glass in my '51 with wing windows. However, I'd like to make sure I get the right thickness to work properly with the side glass runs. I've replaced the seals in one door and it's still not working that well - lots of friction running up and down which results in the glass cocking. It's made me wonder if the non-original laminated glass in there is a bit thicker than original.
What type (laminated vs. tempered), thickness and tint (if any) was original to these trucks?
