Try Pinching the bypass hose or blocking it off,(the little bent hose on the left side running from the intake to the water-pump) I'd bet you drop 15-20 degrees in operating temperature right away. The 360 block is restrictive and the coolant has a tendency to take the easiest route, it short cycles through the bypass, water pump & radiator. Restricting or blocking off the bypass will force the coolant to cycle through the block and do its job properly.
