can t really tell from the pic--scared me at first
sure looks like the reinforcemnt i did on mine
as you say i think i see that the angle iron was welded on top of the frame rail but from a distance it looks exactly like what i had done
i had popped off all the rivets and bolted on a taller c channel setting the top rail on the hump between the springs and notched it to run under the frame and bolted it all back up
