speedometer help

I'm working on my speedo that is in my 49 ffpw
I'm curious to know how to remove the plastic disc in order to replace with a new pointer disc that has arrow already on it. there is a pin that holds the plastic in place but I'm at a loss on how to pick the pin out. any suggestions?
