Compressed air accumulates moisture. You have probably drained the moisture from the bottom of your tank. If you haven't, you should. I have an old portable gas powered EMGLO compressor that has a rusted out spot in the bottom of the tank. Body shops have very sophisticated filtration systems to keep the water out of their paint.
