When I bought my STA Superlug tires in 2005 I thought my WDX would be on the road in a matter of weeks. Well I finally have the truck running as of last week and the front end bounces around so much I'm afraid to put the newly painted hood back on. Back in the day when recaps were around , I'm told you could shave tires to remove flat spots but I can't find anyone who does this anymore. So what to do ? Buy some more Superlugs or get the Budd 17"rims from VPW and go with radials?Maybe there's a third option? From a cost standpoint , the Superlugs seem to be the obvious answer. I would like to drive the truck at highway speeds since I have a 360 but don't intend to drive long distances.
