Cause is hot fuel line. Ethanol only aggravates it. Solution is route fuel line away from hot areas, insulate line if needed. Heat shrouds on exhaust helps too.

In some vehicles, particularly in Southern heat, the carburetor can benefit from thermal isolation too.
